I like to crochet. I’m not exactly masterful at it yet, but I enjoy the repetitive nature of it. I like that it’s something I can do while I watch a movie, or watch my kids play. It’s amazing the way you start out with a ball of yarn, and can end up with almost anything. A blanket, a sweater, a tea cozy. Do people still actually use those?
In any case, I have made one or two Valentine crafts for the shop, and I came across a great idea for crocheted envelopes. I had to make some changes to the pattern, but I ended up with a small pouch, about the size of an iPod. Which it could hold if that was a gift you were to give someone. Or a ring box. Hey, it is Valentine’s Day coming up right?
Personally, I’d prefer something chocolate.
You could fit quite a few Hershey Kisses in there, I think.
